Placed at Argent's almost exact geographical center, this trade hub is surrounded by grassy plains at all sides, making it an excellent place for farming and raising game. Many people from all nations are said to be swept here by changes in their fates.
Argent's northerly capital city, often used as a conference point between the various territories. Chione is a huge, well-guarded city filled with aristocrats and other high members of society, including kyubi and others of all races. Many members of the duchy as well as others across the nation reside here. In spring, its land is covered in blossoming wisteria trees.
An enormous piece of land currently held by the Altum family that has been in a position of power for the last 70 years and has sustained rule over the entire nation for the last ten. Complete with a palace and outer wall over ten meters tall and a courtyard filled with roses, it is both confining and comforting.
The grand city of southern Argent, Silvia is known for its elegant building style and seaside air, ships docking there from around the nation for trade. Situated closely to Argent Manor, it provides the necessary trade ships for the nation as well as a naval fleet in case of battle.
A snow-capped mountain covered in cedar trees. It is over a mile in height, and the summit was historically used as a communication point with the goddess Naga by humans and manaketes.
The treacherous land to Argent's west, it's said to be the final resting place of anyone stupid enough to enter unarmed. Despite its notoriety for housing countless monsters and revenants, it has a sad history of being a place where condemned criminals and plague victims were left for dead.
An ancient castle that has been renovated and rebuilt many times throughout its existence. Holds the ruling family of Sable as well as their family treasure, the Void Codex. Situated out on the hills above the swamp, it was the historic site of many battles.
A relatively new city that has gained the status of being the capital of Sable. St. Bryony is a trading town on the ocean that it quite famous for weapon-making and other metallurgy, making Sable the main exporter of craft among the five countries. Despite being situated near barren lands, the town is blessed with small, white flowers that grow all year round.
A mist-covered marshland that extends for many miles, Dusk Swamp has been considered uninhabitable since its discovery. It is rife with wildlife that does not take kindly to humans, as well as various patches of quicksand, unstable ground, obscuring fog, and other roadblocks which make it difficult to navigate and urbanize.
West of the swamps, there exists acidic land upon which nothing can be grown. Toxic to most plants, grasses and pine trees grow as far as the eye can see, being the only plants that can survive in the undernourished soil.
Named for the type of gem primarily found beneath its grounds, Tourmaline is through-and-through a mining city. It's filled with blue-collar workers despite its wealthy reputation. Most of the gems and metals found here are shipped to Sable to create armor, weapons and jewelry.
An extensive wasteland that covers the southern half of Gules. Not a desert in the way one would traditionally think (No sand, after all!), but the land is cracked and parched to the point where rifts from previous earthquakes are still torn open in the land.
Jagged cliffs rendered devoid of life after a nasty drought. Covered in sharp stones and excessively steep, the Highlands are a notable military training ground.
The capital of Vert, Artemisia is a rather small city but with an active population of woodcutters and other workers among wealthy aristocrats who do nearly nothing with their time. The royal family lives within a central manor.
A small town within Vert, populated primarily by Manaketes. While it is relatively small in size and situated away from most of civilization, it is looked at by the religious as one of the most important cities in the world.
Naturally, it is a hill on top of another hill. This landmark was once the beginning of the previous war in Signum, and the Signese flag still waves high above the top.
A sacred forest at the heart of Vert. Perhaps the due opposite of the northern Wildwoods, Skycall Forest is a temperate, quiet environment where in fact a few communities are situated. It is rather difficult to navigate for someone who does not have a map, though.
The capital of Azure. Known as the "floating city", it is built at the center of a lake and sits atop the water. In reality, the buildings are set atop stilts, and stairs and raised pathways are directly under the water in case of drought. The city is navigated by various boats, and the amount of water is controlled via a series of mechanical gates.
A bustling port town built on the mainland. A trade hub with other principalities, Kamome primarily exports metals, grains and fish. Long ago, it was a military ground created to launch warships, but was rebuilt for commerce in times of peace.
A small trading hamlet situated on a flat plain by the sea, it is popular for its blossoms in the spring and summer. Barley and other grains are often grown here and traded, and it also has a reputation of sorts as a primarily alcohol-producing town.
A small, isolated outcropping named for its drop-shaped geography, it is a relatively small community made up of both human and youko inhabitants. In spite of its size, the rice paddies here are known to yield fine harvests each year.
A fortified island on which meetings are held between all five countries, with royals and delegates often stopping by. It is guarded more heavily than even the most notorious prison, and being appointed as a Central Isle Guard is considered a high honor for any knight.
